FINALLY!!!
The First Alaska King Salmon of the season
was caught on the Little Susitna River today,
and the first Alaska King Salmon put in the boat for us this year.
This angler has been renamed "King Aron".
We started fishing around 11:40 AM.
This fish caught us all by surprise.
We saw this fish roll down river from us, and and we decided to give another drift in this area.
and WHAMMM at 12:20 PM the fight was on!
This fish ran from one side of the river to the other.
It wrapped around a log and "King Aron" was able to free it from the log and into the net it went!
This Alaska King Salmon was bright and had sea lice on it.
It was a 22 pound beauty!!
The fish are in there, just a matter of having the patience
to wait for them to get to you.
King Aron hooked this fish on a Kwik Fish, single hook.
It was absolutely awesome!!!!
King Aron, you're my Idol...damn handsome too!! lol
