We had a trip this morning and the weather was cool, but mild.
We started fishing at 6 am and at around 8 am we had 1 hookup on a Vibrax Lure,
soon afterwards it was lost.
Later this morning we had another hook up and FISH ON!!!
Joanne was an awesome angler, she fought that Alaska King Salmon like a pro!
This Alaska King Salmon weighed in at around 35 pounds.
It was a chrome bright fish with sea lice still on it.
This afternoon we had a trip and started fishing the same area as this morning.
Within an hour, another FISH ON!!!!
This Alaska King Salmon took the lure quick and fast.
As soon as the rod was bent, Steve was out of his chair fighting this fish.
It took line and after about 10 minutes, in the net it went.
This gorgeous fish weighed around 35 pounds as well.
The sun finally came out in the afternoon.
These 2 fish were great looking and hopefully this is a good sign for the season.
